Amki
Support
A local-first flashcard app you can use right away — no account, no ads, no in-app purchases, no sign-up. All of your cards and study history stay on your device.
My cards are gone / I want to move my data
Amki keeps your data on your device only, so deleting the app also deletes your cards.
To back up or move to a new device, go to Settings > Export to save
an .amki file, then use Settings > Import on the other
device to load it.
Can I import Anki decks?
Yes, Amki supports importing .apkg files. It extracts text, basic line breaks,
images, and [sound:...] audio. Scripts and complex styling (HTML/JS) are not
executed, so some formatting may appear simplified.
Audio recording isn't working
- iPhone: Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone > turn on Amki.
- Android: Settings > Apps > Amki > Permissions > allow Microphone.
My review schedule looks off
Amki uses a pluggable review scheduler. Your review history is stored in an append-only way that can't be modified or deleted, and the schedule is calculated from each card's review history. If the problem persists, email us and describe what happened.
